Dunes Baptist Church is an Independent, Bible-believing, Baptist church in Michigan City, IN. At DBC, we have only one message - the message of the Lord Jesus Christ, and only one ministry - the ministry that Christ has given the church to reach and teach the world of Christ. We use only the King James Bible in our services and believe It to be the preserved Word of God for the English-speaking people. We use traditional hymns in our worship services. Dunes Baptist Church was founded in 1989 by Samuel Geckler. We hold to the historic and timeless Baptist distinctives. The Lord has blessed the ministries of DBC throughout the years. It has been our joy to see hundreds come to know Jesus as their Saviour.
It is the purpose of DBC to love the Lord, love others, reach the world, and teach of Christ. We are excited about what God is doing now and will be doing in the future in our church. There are many ministries and opportunities to get involved as well as great times for fellowship.
